We can't do it alone. We need your help!!!

All memberships expire July 30, 2010. At that time all gate codes are canceled and a new one is issued to all members, along with a new tag ! Attached to this email is a membership form..We did not raise the price and hope all will support our fundraisers this coming year.

MEMBERSHIPS MAY BE:
• MAILED TO ADDRESS ON FORM
• LEFT IN THE MAILBOX AT THE PARK...(GREEN MAILBOX ON LITTLE HOUSE)
• DELIVERED TO ADDRESS ON FORM..(LEAVE IN BASKET BY DOOR)

You will be issued a new tag and code..via email ...PLEASE FILL OUT COMPLETELY AND CLEARLY.

MEDIAL RECORDS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY ALL!!!

ON July 24 ( 1:30 to 4) we will be sponsoring a shot clinic at Academy West Animal Hospital on Bell and 63rd. The same as the clinics at the park only inside and COOL. Rattlesnake and Microchips will also be available. This will enable everyone to get updated prior to the August 1 date.

NOTE.. It’s very upsetting to hear people are giving their codes to non members, we will be monitoring this situation very closely thru the next year. You must have your tag, and give your name when asked. Its not fair to anyone and a liability risk to everyone to have people sneak in......Its all of our park, so they are cheating all of us.!!!Anthem Pets Board. Click here for more information

Please watch the heat....over 106 is fatal to dogs and cats...We have had way to many close calls this summer. A dog or cat can go downhill almost instantly so keep them inside.

Mountain Lion has been spotted near Ironwood Golf Course homes....most likely looking for fresh water. Please dont leave your pets outside by themselves and watch the top of walls and roofs...If you spot one back up never turn your back on them. They can jump any wall in Anthem.

ADOPTIONS ...We have alot of pets up for adoption for various reasons...from small kittens to older dogs and cats...please pass our flyers on to your friends and email list.

TAGS AND CODES. New tags and codes are issued with 2010 membership..Tags must be on Dog or on the leash and you will be asked to prove you are a member and have paid for the number of dogs you bring in .
We will monitor the park on a sporatic basis to keep cheaters out, the monitor will have a list of members and dogs registered. Sorry we have to do this but giving the code out to all your friends is a great Liability to others. Each person signs the liability statement and if they are not a member and there is an issue you have no recourse. The rules are for everyones benefit..ie. shots etc....and like someone said why should we pay for someone else to use the park. So please help us solve this problem....The Board.

NEW BOARD MEMBERS. We are welcoming several new board members and could still use anyone interested.....

VOLUNTEERS We always have projects that we need help with ..drop us an email if you want to help out with any of the above events or other projects.

FOSTERS. A special thanks to all of our Foster Parents..we have had some real needs the past few months..and to Dr Ratke of Academy West Animal Clinic and Hospital who took in a Mama cat ready to give birth any minute...she had six darling kittens who will be ready for adoption in 8 weeks.

Donations....We can always use food which we redistribute to Sr.Centers, and Meals on Wheels and the Homeless in Black Canyon City and New River. But we also can use crates or dog and cat items..you can either drop of or we can pick up....email us at anthempets@yahoo.com

PARK......
We have ordered more tennis ball throwers....they are not chew bones for your dogs....please keep the throwers out of the dogs mouths....Also new agility equipment is going up in Sept...not chew toys either.
Thanks to all the Park Patrol people..its hot and not fun in the summer so pick up after your pet so all they have to do is dump the trash.
